Germany’s Rockpalast programme really is the gift that keeps on giving. Their archive of live shows – or more specifically the ones that have made their way onto YouTube and remain there, rights be damned – is an astonishing time capsule that I’ll be happy to mine as long as I’m doing this.

Today, a full 90-minute set by Echo & Bunnymen in performance at Zeche in Bochum, Germany in March 1983 while on tour for their third album Porcupine. A record that Will Sergeant just annotated on Tim’s Twitter Listening Party, another online resource I’ll raid for content until the sun burns out.
