While they tipped off a while ago that it was coming (via Instagram story showing the album information on a computer screen), Bangkok shoegazers Slowwves still caught me by surprise – pleasantly – by announcing that their debut full-length Perfect Evasion would be coming out digitally this Wednesday, June 4, with physical copies later in the Summer.

They’ve led up to this with a string of singles drawing on the moodier, melancholic side of the genre, all of which will be appearing on the record. So on one hand, yeah we’ve heard five of the nine songs, but they’re all excellent and there’s still four new ones! So to welcome their first full-length, here’s the video from their first single, released last March.
