Suede: The Insatiable Ones

Suede: The Insatiable Ones

Though my days of buying music documentaries on DVD are long behind me, but one that I would have happily paid for – Mike Nichols’ 2019 Suede documentary Suede: The Insatiable Ones – I couldn’t. It was originally aired on UK network Sky, who do a remarkably good job of making sure their programming is inaccessible to anyone in the world except their own subscribers, and apparently it was niche enough interest that no one ever ripped a copy for the more lawless corners of the internet. It was eventually released on DVD but only in PAL format and I haven’t concerned myself with region-free/PAL/NTSC issues in a very long time so except for occasional torrent searches, I accepted I wouldn’t get to see it beyond the trailer:

But wait, what’s this? Some kind soul has digitized the entire thing and posted it to YouTube. Yes it’s only 480p resolution so I’m not keen to watch it on my TV, but given the transient nature of things – particularly unsanctioned things – on YouTube, I’ll not be waiting long to get to it.

Thanks to Torr for bringing this to my attention!
