Mogwai are back with their first non-soundtrack new music since 2021’s As The Love Continues, and while they’ve yet to reveal specifics of their next album, we know that a) it’ll probably be out before their 2025 world tour kicks off in February – I’ll put my money on January 24 or 31 as the last Friday of that month is usually the first drop of big releases for the year – and b), the first single finds the band getting really cozy with their synth collections again.

We will find out the grand plan over the next few months, probably accompanied by more new music, but for now, rest easy in the knowledge that 2025 will be a year of Mogwai.
