Amelia Murray’s return as Fazerdaze is complete today with the release of her second album Soft Power, and she celebrated in advance by not only streaming the whole album a day early on YouTube – academic, since it’s available to stream everywhere now unless you don’t subscribe to any streaming services in which case have at it – but also releasing another new video for “So Easy”.

The video, the song, and the album as a whole affirm that even though it’s been seven years since Morningside with a lot of life and living in between, Murray still knows what makes Fazerdaze’s dreampop great – sunny melodies run through charming, mid-fi production. And I don’t know about you, but any kind of sunshine is welcome these days.
