Russian shoegaze masters Blankenberge have been teasing their fourth album since last September, but while the samples of the new record have been expectedly euphoric, they’ve been very light on details about the new album itself.
Last weekend, they released their third preview of the new record along with very subtle visualizer, but again resisted the temptation to say much of anything about it. That said, they have offered guitar lessons for the new material via Instagram, and lyrics to the three previews are available on their label’s Bandcamp page, so it’s not like they’re not sharing.
But what we do know is that the new record, still untitled, will be out on July 25. Preorder info will be coming soon and I assume by that point they’ll have to tell us what it’s called… but there’s still almost five more months of teasing and anticipation until then.
Update: The album is called Decisions, and vinyl preorders are already sold out.
