Melody Prochet has been relatively quiet since the flurry of Melody’s Echo Chamber activity in 2022-23 that brought us an album of new material and an album of old, an international tour, capped off by a one-off collaboration single with American psych outfit Crumb.

This week, she returned with another one-off collab from across the Atlantic, this one with New York soul ensemble El Michels Affair, led by Leon Michels. “Daisy” is a sprightly gem perfectly timed to inject a little Springtime bounce into the Autumn. No video, just vibes.

Says Prochet of the song:

“Daisy” started as a daydream while listening to @El_Michels’s finest music. I reached out to him, and we instantly created this sweet overlapping zone—like an invisible playground between our worlds. It’s a privilege to have made this one together!
