How successful are Chromatics at creating their own synthetic cinematic film noir world? A simple task like finding one of their freaking videos to post just because I feel like it became a rabbit hole into the Italians Do It Better roster, all their remixes and limited EPs, all their videos, Johnny Jewel’s favoured synthesizers and drum machines (they just reissued his beloved miniKORG 700 but it’s gonna be crazy money), and oh yeah WHERE’S DEAR TOMMY but man, that’s a whole blog (not blog post – standalone blog) unto itself so for now here’s a song, which was originally going to be on Dear Tommy but is now no longer on Dear Tommy and I’m just going to stop now.
