It’s the home stretch to the holidays, so it’s about time I get the festive fare I’ve been sitting on out into the world. We’ll start way back in 1991, when Ride, a couple months after the release of their debut album Nowhere, released a single-sided 7″ for sale at a fan club gig in London. It contained a charmingly sloppy reworking of “Like A Daydream”, from their 1990 Play EP, recorded during their Going Blank Again sessions, with slightly tweaked lyrics to fit the season.
