Ahead of their final show next month, Tokyo dreampoppers AprilBlue have released their final single, 『ヴァージンノイズ』, which translates to “Virgin Noise” and in the words of singer Haruki Funasoko:

“These are the lyrics I wrote while questioning the meaning of standing on stage with this band. I’m glad I was able to leave them behind. Deliver them!”

And songwriter Azusa Suga adds:

Excluding the two songs from the entry privilege for the one-man show on August 13th, this will be the last April Blue song to reach your ears and eyes. And yet, for some reason, it’s venturing into new territory right at this point.

By “new territory”. he’s referring to the fact that this being by far the heaviest track the band have released. I guess if you’re going to leave the stage, you may as well step on every pedal and turn it all up to 10 as you do it.
