Blankenberge – “Together”

Blankenberge – “Together”

Having released the first taste of their fourth album back in September, I had hoped that Russian shoegazers Blankenberge would ring in the new year with more details of when and what to expect of the follow-up to 2021’s glorious Everything. Today, they deigned to give us a second preview of that record with the soaring dreampop anthem “Together”, but little more.

Their new label Automatic Music has promised preorder info will be available on March 1, so worst case, we only have to wait another seven weeks for specifics on how much longer we have to wait. That’s… fine, I guess.

But if you wanted to know how to play one of the riffs and what gear they used, well they’ll tell you that… looks like a Fender American Vintage Jaguar through an Earthquaker Devices Spires fuzz.
