My socials keep me pretty aware of any time Slowdive performs live anywhere around the world, but last weekend’s show supporting The Cure and Mogwai in Edinburgh seemed particularly amplified, what with friends and celebrities also in attendance, and so my usual FOMO-proof self was a little sad. Not that hopping on a plane to Scotland is in the cards anyways, but one can pretend to pretend.

So it’s a little lucky that this professionally multi-camera live set by the band from last Summer’s Outbreak Fest in Manchester has surfaced. It looks and sounds amazing, and as I mentioned when I last shared a full show, it’ll have to satiate those of us who don’t host or attend festivals until the band make a new record and return to regular touring… which might be 2028? 2029? Yeah, better enjoy what we can get while we can get it.
