Fazerdaze returned to North America last year twice – a short solo tour in May around a couple festival appearances, and a more thorough itinerary as a duo supporting Australian psych outfit Pond around the release of her second album Soft Power. The latter included an appearance at Seattle’s KEXP for a four-song live set which has just been released, and even in a limited configuration, the new material sounds great and Amelia Murray seems like a more assured live performer than the last time she had her own headline show here in Toronto back in November 2017. Apparently more touring is in the cards for this year, so let’s hope there’s a return date and that she brings a few more players with her.
