In honour of the fact that my friends and I are able to go back into a rehearsal space to make noise every few weeks for the first time in over a year and a half, here’s a YouTube rip of an early Magazine bootleg record, BBC Radio 1 Live In Concert. Recorded on November 22, 1978 and broadcast on the BBC a week later, the band had released their debut album Real Life five months earlier.

This is relevant to easing of our lockdown because I need to re-learn how to play, “The Light Pours Out Of Me”. Happy to have the homework assignment.
