Simon Gallup has quit The Cure except no, he hasn’t quit The Cure. It’s unclear if in the months between point A and point B if he actually missed out on any work duties since the band aren’t touring and next album Live From The Moon was supposed to have been almost done since last year (maybe they were just missing bass lines?) but the anticipated 2021 release date probably isn’t happening.

In any case, it’s nice that he’s back with the band because the continuity of his tenure has always felt as important as Robert Smith’s. So let’s mark the occasion/non-occasion with the vid for the lead single from Disintegration, at least in the US – it was chosen by the label over “Lullaby”, though that song was eventually also released as a single in North America.
