To wrap up this Christmas week, a return to the previously-mentioned Ghosts Of Christmas Past and a contribution from The Durutti Column which has appeared on all versions of the compilation over the years. It only appeared on an official Durutti Column release starting with the 1996 reissue of second album LC, which included other non-album tracks of the era as bonuses, including this one.

There’s not really anything especially Christmas-y about the track – it’s another fingerpicked electric guitar instrumental of the sort Vini Reilly excels at, though no sleigh bells – but if the title is good enough to keep it on a seasonal release for the better part of two decades, it’s good enough for me.
