Russian shoegaze heroes Blankenberge will release their long-awaited fourth record Decisions, which I’ve personally been anxiously awaiting for a few years now. They’ve already telegraphed their plans for celebrating the release – they held a Bandcamp listening party last night and are releasing an official video for “New Rules”, which was the first preview track from the record back in September tomorrow morning and so doesn’t quite do it as far as new blog fodder goes.

So I’ll go back to simpler times – September 2019 – when the band played a release show for their second record More in their hometown of St. Petersburg. It’s a single-camera handheld recording, but well-lit and with enough pan-and-zoom work to keep the visuals dynamic and excellent sound quality.
