For those keeping track, that’s three much-anticipated new records just announced in the past week coming out at the end of April/start of May. Following news of new releases from Hatchie and Melody’s Echo Chamber, Los Angeles’ Warpaint yesterday released details of their fourth full-length and first since 2016’s Heads Up.

Radiate Like This will be out on May 6 – happy birthday to me – and the band have shared the opening track via a “visualizer”, which i guess is different from a video. The official pullquote about the single is:

Being a champion to oneself and for others. We are all in this together, life is too short not to strive for excellence in all that we do.

Update: And as of March 17, the stream has been replaced by an official video, accompanied by the following note by Jenny Lee Lindberg:

“Being apart it was a little tricky to make a video. Tt [Theresa Wayman] came up [with] some key points with camera and angles, so we had some cohesion. The motivation was to feel like a champ and deliver the goods and let your honey flag shine.”
